  1. What is MyTankGauge?

MyTankGauge is an affordable solution for making gas station inventory and compliance information available from the web. MyTankGauge has a solution for your existing equipment that provides you with web-based fuel and compliance management. We turn the Automatic Tank Gauges that are present in nearly every gas station into Internet enabled devices.

    MyTankGauge allows you to:

    • Monitor in-tank inventory in near real-time
    • Be notified automatically when an alarm occurs via e-mail and/or text message.
    • Clear alarms from the web
    • Eliminate keeping leak test result printouts at the station. We archive the leak test results and keep an exact copy of all of the information that is contained on the printout. You can view and print these results from the web.
    • Make Compliance Forms available from the web. Any forms that are required to be kept on file can be stored and made easily accessible from the website. Examples of forms that can be kept on file for you include: Annual Monitoring System Certification Forms; UST Monitoring Site Plan Forms; Unauthorized Release Forms; etc.

  2. Which MyTankGauge connection is the best?

    • Ethernet connection is preferable for reliability and cost. Available port on router is preferred, but we can install a switch if necessary.
    • Cellular router service is available at an extra cost and monthly data plan if no internet is available.

  3. What Automatic Tank Gauge Systems does MyTankGauge support?

MyTankGauge currently supports the following Automatic Tank Gauge Systems:

    • Veeder-Root TLS-450-all models
    • Veeder-Root TLS-350 (All models, TLS-350R, TLS-300, etc.)
    • Veeder-Root TLS-250
    • Incon TS-1000, 2000, 1001, 2001
    • Evo TS-550
    • EBW Auto-Stik II, Auto-Stick Jr., Auto-Stick Jr.-8
    • Omntec Models
    • Red Jacket Models
    • Gilbarco Models
  4. Our goal is to support all ATGS's and we will continue to add support for additional ATGS models in the near future.

  5. What equipment do I need to run MyTankGauge?

    MyTankGauge iPort requires the following:

    • MyTankGauge iPort (6 x 4 x 1" inch black box).
    • One serial port on the Automatic Tank Gauge with an RS232 communications board.

  6. What information is available using MyTankGauge?

    MyTankGauge features include:

    • In-tank Inventory, updated as often as every 30 minutes.
    • Leak Test results - monthly compliance records available indefinitely from the time you sign up for service.
    • Delivery Records - all deliveries made to your tanks are recorded and made available from the website.
    • Alarm Records - all alarms that occur at your site are recorded and made available from the website.
    • Alarm Notification - you can select when to be automatically e-mailed and/or texted if an alarm occurs and for which alarms that occur (e.g., you can be automatically notified if you receive an overflow alarm, but not notified if you receive a vapor sensor alarm)
    • Sales - You daily and monthly sales are available from the website.
    • Delivery Scheduling - You can select to have your dispatch automatically notified when you need a delivery made.
    • Compliance Forms - Any forms that are required to be kept on file can be stored and made easily accessible from the website. Examples of forms that can be kept on file for you include: Annual Monitoring System Certification Forms; UST Monitoring Site Plan Forms; Unauthorized Release Forms; etc.
    • Sensor Status – have a record of sensors that will list the different sensors, when they were last monitored, date of last alarm, and number of days since last alarm.

  7. Who has access to my site information?

You determine who has access to your site data. For example, you can allow limited access to your dispatcher so that they can monitor in-tank product and know when a delivery needs to be made. Or, you could allow limited access to your maintenance company and have them alerted automatically when an alarm occurs.

The system is very flexible and can be customized by you. You can give access to one user for one site, 100 users for one site, or one user for 1000 sites. In other words, any configuration is possible. Each company will have an administrator in charge of assigning user ID's and passwords. Your administrator can add and remove users from this website in whatever way suits your company's needs.

  8. How can I be sure that my data is secure?

Our site is operated on a secure server and your data is in a secure database. We are using the latest technologies in database and web security, however, it will be important for your administrator to use his/her best discretion in assigning user ID's and passwords. If a question or problem every does arise, we do keep an access log that provides us with information regarding who and when the site was accessed. Also, our database and website is backed up no less than every 24 hours.

  9. How up-to-date will my Station's information be?

Information can be updated as often as every 30 minutes. There is no extra cost for frequency of updates, it is simply up to you how often you want your information posted.

  10. What does the iPort look like?

    MyTankGauge iPort:

    • Simple, effective, affordable hardware that puts your ATGS data on the web.
    • Connects to a RS232 port (serial port) on your Automatic Tank Gauging System with an RS232 cable.
    • Connects to a router with ethernet cable or a cellular router.
    • Information is transmitted to a secure website where users login to retrieve fuel and compliance information.
